Could you walk up to someone you’ve never met, start a conversation, and leave with a photo? That was the challenge Ian Butler set for himself. The result? “100 Strangers,” a book of portraits that captures humanity at its most raw and authentic.

Created in the aftermath of the pandemic, this project became more than a test courage. “It was a way to document the resilience and humanity that had emerged as we navigated a new chapter,” explains Butler.

“100 Strangers” stands as both a personal milestone for Butler and an inspiring reminder to photographers everywhere: growth comes when we push past fear and open ourselves to the world around us.

Shannon + Cameron’s wedding

Tredudwell Manor is a picturesque authentic country house set in its own peaceful gardens and woodlands with stunning rural views across the Cornish coastline. It is a stunning venue for those seeking an idyllic wedding location.

On arrival for Shannon & Cameron’s big day I was excited to see all of the potential areas to capture those memorable moments. Pairing gorgeous stone architecture with charming interiors gives this venue such charm.

There is a beautiful ceremony space with a lake backdrop which fits the bill perfectly for an outdoor wedding. As a photographer i felt there were countless opportunities at every turn for me to capture beautiful wedding moments. Not to forget the Pavilion offering a large indoor space, filled with light and charming features, I loved the way this was opened up for the guests to mingle in and out and chat away in the sunshine.

A friendly experienced team from Tredudwell were very enthusiastic to make the whole wedding day run smoothly.
